چکیده
We present a mock catalog of gravitationally lensed quasars at $z_\text{qso}<7.5$ with simulated images for the Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey Space and Time (LSST). adopt recent measurements quasar luminosity functions to model population, use CosmoDC2 galaxy deflector galaxies, which successfully reproduces observed velocity dispersion up $z_d\sim1.5$. The is highly complete Einstein radius $\theta_E>0\farcs07$ absolute magnitude $M_{i}<-20$. estimate that there are $\sim10^3$ discoverable in current imaging surveys, LSST will increase this number $\sim2.4\times10^3$. Most have image separation $\Delta \theta>0\farcs5$, least be marginally resolved seeing $\sim0\farcs7$. There $\sim200$ quadruply-lensed LSST. fraction quad lenses among all about $\sim10\%-15\%$, decreases survey depth. This shows large diversity observational features quasars, terms lensing quasar-to-deflector flux ratio. discuss possible strategies search era.

A Submillimeter Survey of Gravitationally Lensed Quasars
Submillimeter (and in some cases millimeter) wavelength continuum measurements are presented for a sample of 40 active galactic nuclei (probably all quasars) lensed by foreground galaxies. The object of this study is to use the lensing boost, anywhere from ∼ 3 − 20 times, to detect dust emission from more typical AGNs than the extremely luminous ones currently accessible without lensing. The so...
متن کاملThe Reddest Quasars II. A gravitationally-lensed FeLoBAL quasar
We report the discovery of a z = 2.65 low-ionization iron broad absorption line quasar, FIRST J100424.9+122922, which is gravitationally-lensed by a galaxy at z ≈ 0.95. The object was discovered as part of a program to find very red quasars by matching the FIRST radio survey with the 2-MASS near-infrared survey. J100424.9+122922 is the second lensed system to be found in this program, suggestin...
متن کاملThe Importance of Intergalactic Structure to Gravitationally Lensed Quasars
Image flux ratio anomalies have been attributed to substructures within the gravitational lens and to small mass halos (M < ∼ 10 10 M⊙) in intergalactic space. In this paper, analytic calculations are presented that help in the understanding of how intergalactic halos affect magnification ratios. It is found that intergalactic halos can produce anomalies at a similar level to those that are obs...
متن کاملA CO Survey of Gravitationally Lensed Quasars with the IRAM Interferometer
We present the results of a CO survey of gravitationally lensed quasars, conducted with the Plateau de Bure Interferometer over the last three years. Among the 18 objects surveyed, one was detected in CO line emission, while six were detected in the continuum at 3mm and three in the continuum at 1mm. The low CO detection rate may at least in part be due to uncertainties in the redshifts derived...
متن کاملUsing the 6dF galaxy redshift survey to detect gravitationally-lensed quasars
It is possible to detect gravitationally-lensed quasars spectroscopically if the spectra obtained during galaxy surveys are searched for the presence of quasar emission lines. The up-coming 6 degree Field (6dF) redshift survey on the United Kingdom Schmidt Telescope will involve obtaining ∼ 10 spectra of near-infrared selected galaxies to a magnitude limit of K = 13. Applying previously develop...
